Admissions Applying to Haywood Engineering College Although students may join the school at any stage in their educational careers if we are
able to offer places according to our Admissions Policy (which can be viewed on this
website), the majority of new students join us at the start of Year 7. Our prospective parents’ evening for those students wishing to join the School in Year 7 in
September 2011 will take place on Wednesday 6th October. The school has an indicated admissions number of 210 students per year group. It is
important, therefore, that you return the Common Application Form to the Local Authority
(LA) by 31st October 2010 in order that your application can be processed. Full details of the
application process can be found in the booklet distributed by the local authority via your
