Year 11

We continue our improving trend in results while maintaining a wide and varied curriculum choice, which is predominately GCSE but also includes Diplomas and Btecs. This offers students the optimum choice Post-16 and clear pathways to university. We are again very pleased with the achievements of our year 11 students who have achieved the highest results in the school’s history for 5 A*-C grades. This puts the progress of our students in the top 25% of similar schools nationally. We are also very pleased by the increasing number of students that are achieving 5A*-C grades including English and Maths over the years and that this has been maintained this year with 36%. This result was above most National and Local targets for the school. We are very proud of our success as being a fully inclusive school and this is evident as all of our year 11 students left us with a least 1 A*-G grade, 30% achieved at least 1 A*/A grade and 10% achieved 5 or more A*-A grades.

Year 9

We are again very pleased with the achievements of our year 9 students as 58% achieved three level 5’s and above and 18% achieved 3 level 6’s and above. This maintains an increasing four year trend, and is the highest results in the last six years. We are also very pleased that 62% of our students achieved a level 5 in Maths and English which well exceeds last year’s result of 59.5%. Most of our results are above local and national targets and will place us in the top 25% of similar schools nationally.
